My little boys… They love to golf. Every morning at 7:45am, here comes Nikolai:
“Mommy! Mommy! You need get up to make me breakfast so I can go outside and play golf!!”
“Grumble grumble grumble, alright, I’m up.”
Those kids are such sweethearts though, it’s hard to grumble for long. Nikolai got his first golf clubs when he turned 3. They were just plastic ones and only the putter survived the whole year. So on his 4th birthday he got REAL golf clubs. They play golf all day. Pepere noticed we’ll need to expand the yard soon.
So those my my kids. I like to call them the TWITs- Tiger Woodses in Training.
OK, onto the knitting half of this post. Gabriel is wearing his brand new Cousin Nalgar from EZ’s Knitting Workshop. This was a fun design to knit, even though it took me several tries to get everything right. I am definately a seamless knitter, I don’t even like having to make the sleeves up separately before doing the yoke, so this was a perfect pattern for me. I will definately be knitting more of this design. I didn’t make any modifications to the pattern (unusual for me) except putting the sleeve decreases on the top of the sleeve.
I love this sweater. It turned out wonderfully. I love the stripes. I love all the differnt shades in the teal yarn- I will certainly be dyeing more yarn soon. I love the geometry of the sleeves. I love how soft it is. I love using up stash yarn. I love the growning room! And Gabriel makes everything cute.
